We formost give God thanks for answering the many prayers by keeping us safe in travel and on mission in Madera. The Lord shielded our eyes and ears from the many negative things the enemy is doing in Mexico. Everyone who went on the trip = You guys ROCK!!!! This was the roughest trip to date, weather wise. The wind was unbelievably wicked. 20-30 MPH non-stop with gusts up to 60-70 MPH. No joke, we literally ate dirt!

They don't call us "Crazy Christians" for no reason. We had more injuries than on any other trip, the wind ripped apart tents, our huge army kitchen tent was stolen, we were only able to erect half of the walls on the dorm for the elderly.

Through all of that, once again God showed up, was there by our side, and displayed to the enemy who is Lord. All the injuries were healed within 24 hours, we were able to fix the tents and our army tent was brought back the next day.  Not having to put up the remaining walls allowed everyone to go to the orphanage and hangout with the kids.

We were able to enjoy 2 nights eating dinner in town at Sam's Saloon and trips to the ice cream shop (yum!).

Because we needed to hunker down for the wind, we were able to fellowship with one another more and strengthen our love and bonds with each other.

When we went to the jail for our prison ministry there were NO prisoners. Praise God. Once again, I need to say, - this was a very successful mission!

It was such a pleasure and blessing having our friends from Alabama on the trip. You guys are so awesome and we always look forward to your participation.

Karl, thanks for being our "fearless leader" while Ellis was in Israel. Wendy, thanks for keeping us all in line with the finances and keeping everything in order. Justin, thank you for your construction leadership and making sure we hammer and cut where we should. All of you have truly changed my life and have brought so much joy and laughter. Thank you for all you do and may God continue to bless you and your families.   Robin Lowry - Better Together Mission Food Coordinator
